Our Story
With close to 16 years of experience, owner Robert Nuñez started detailing cars in his childhood helping his father maintain his client’s vehicles. At 15 years old he started helping his father color sand and polish Lowriders for acclaimed custom painter, Danny D. - focusing on leveling down the paint as flat as possible to achieve that award winning shine. By doing this, Robert gained a great understanding of how to correct clear coat and paint. At 18 years old Robert was hired to work at an auto body shop and worked there for 8 years. Working there gave him the hands-on experience and knowledge that took his skills to a higher level. After the body shop life, Robert explored other opportunities including athletic training. However, Covid came along and like many, his income was affected and needed to pivot to make a living. Robert naturally transitioned back into the craft and first love of automotive detailing. Kustom Correctionz launched in late 2020 and he made his mark in 2021. Experiencing steady growth, Kustom Correctionz is on a journey to being one of LA County’s top detailing businesses.
